A Family Story Rooted in Craft, Wood, and Home

4my‑Home is a small, family‑run business created by two brothers who grew up surrounded by solid, well‑made furniture — the kind that feels grounded, dependable, and part of the home itself.

We were both born in the same house where our workshop now stands, a place that has been in our family for over a century. Growing up, nothing in that house was disposable. Furniture was made to be lived with, cared for, and appreciated. That sense of permanence shaped us, and it’s at the heart of everything we do today.

Why We Work With Wood

Wood has a character that no manufactured material can match. Every grain, knot, and curve tells its own story. No two pieces are ever identical — and that’s exactly what we love about it.

We began by reclaiming old whisky barrels, giving them a new life as unique pieces of furniture. From there, we expanded into sustainably sourced hardwoods, especially mango wood — a fast‑growing, renewable resource that offers strength, beauty, and environmental responsibility.

Whether a piece is made here in the UK or crafted by our trusted partners in India, every item is chosen for its quality, authenticity, and the care that goes into making it.

From Photography to Fine Art Reproductions

Before 4my‑Home, our family spent nearly 50 years running a photographic processing and printing business founded by our father. Much of our work involved reproducing fine art and old master paintings, giving us a deep appreciation for detail, colour, and craftsmanship.

Today, we continue that tradition by offering high‑quality reproductions of selected artworks. These are produced by a specialist company where many of our former staff now work — people we trust, and whose skill we know firsthand.

As our collection grows, we’ll be inviting artists to collaborate with us, offering unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
