Introduction

These Terms & Conditions explain the agreement between you (“the customer”) and Strategic Retail Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you use our website or purchase products from www.4my-home.co.uk.

By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. Privacy & Data Protection

2. Ordering Products

You can place an order by following the checkout process on our website. Before submitting your order, please check all details carefully.

Once your order is placed:

  • You will receive an order confirmation email.
  • When your item is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.
  • A contract is formed only when we send the order confirmation email.

If we cannot accept your order (for example, due to stock issues or pricing errors), we will notify you and refund any payment made.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the products you order can be delivered into your home (including access through doors, stairways, and hallways).

3. Product Availability

All orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as possible and issue a full refund if necessary.

4. Product Images, Descriptions & Pricing

We make every effort to display products accurately. However:

  • Colours may vary depending on your phone, television, computer screen or monitor.
  • Measurements are approximate but are normally within plus or minus one centimetre.
  • Handmade items may differ slightly from photographs.

If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably be recognised as such, we are not obliged to supply the product at the incorrect price.

Prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges (if any) are shown during checkout.

5. Delivery

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with your expected delivery date.

We currently deliver within the UK (excluding Northern Ireland). Deliveries outside this area may be arranged on request.

We will always make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery dates, but delays may occur due to factors outside our control. If this happens, we will update you with a revised estimate.

6. Risk & Ownership

Ownership of the products passes to you once full payment has been received. Responsibility for the products passes to you when you (or someone authorised by you) takes physical possession of them.

7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Your rights depend on the type of product you have ordered.

A. Standard Products

You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item. If you change your mind:

  • You must notify us within 14 days.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs.

We will refund you within 30 days of receiving the returned item.

B. Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Notify us within 2 working days of delivery.
  • We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

C. Bespoke & Made‑to‑Order Products

Some items are made specifically for you once your order is placed. These are considered bespoke.

For bespoke items:

  • You cannot cancel once production has begun.
  • Returns are only accepted if the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Handmade & Natural Wood Characteristics

Many of our products are handcrafted from solid wood. Natural variations are part of their character and are not considered defects. These may include:

  • Variations in grain, colour, or texture
  • Small knots or natural marks
  • Slight differences in dimensions
  • Minor differences from photographs
  • Natural movement of timber over time

These characteristics are normal and expected in handmade wooden furniture.

9. Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of business or profit
  • Commercial use of residential products
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

10. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to events outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, transport disruption, supplier delays). If such an event occurs, we will contact you and offer options, including cancellation where appropriate.
